Noel & Felicity

You'll remember Ben & Brittany's maternity session from a few months back. Their twin girls have arrived, they are home, and now they're learning life as Mom and Dad and what it means to love two little ones so, so much.

Felicity and Noel had their first photo session about a month ago, and I'm so excited to share it here with you on the blog. The girls did great! They slept most of the session, but we did get to see those beautiful eyes here and there.

I am overjoyed to know that I get to follow this family over the next year as the girls continue to grow and change. Enjoy!

Olivia: 12 months!

What a privilege to document how this family has grown over the past few years! I can't believe that Olivia is already a year old. We spent some time capturing her sweet little personality down at the beach - and allowed her precious brother, Levi, and Mom and Dad to jump in a few pictures as well!

The Wilson Family

Catherine is a good friend from college, so I was excited when she told me that she wanted to give her Mom a photo session for Christmas last year! We ended up waiting until late Summer to do the session, and Mrs. Wilson decided she would love to have beach pictures. So we headed out to Wrightsville Beach late one afternoon. I had a blast spending time with these friends...so much laughter! :)

The Bass Family

On a beautiful morning in Greensboro, all 17 (+1 in a belly!) members of the Bass family came together for some family portraits. A good friend of mine went with me to help get all 17 pairs of eyes on the camera at the same time - and somehow we made it happen! Thank you, Elizabeth, for jumping up and down and singing and doing crazy things all at the same time. :) The lens of my camera was not nearly as exciting as you were!

We had been praying for no rain for weeks leading up to the session, as this was one of the few times that everyone was able to be together...and we had 0 options for re-scheduling. The weather was perfect. No rain and a good amount of cloud cover...great for pictures! What a blessing.
