The Mayo Family!

Every minute of being with this family was so much fun! We began the session at their home which happened to have huge, gorgeous oak trees in the front and back yard areas. It was amazing. After shooting there for a short while, we headed down to Wrightsville to do some pictures on the beach. We had awesome weather - not too hot, not too cold, and barely any wind! Perfect.

I loved the heart behind this session - as their family really just desired for me to capture what their life is like on a daily basis. You'll see Hance with his bottle and blankey - as he spends a lot of his time keeping a tight hold on both items. :) It's real life - and I love it.

Olivia & Levi keep growing!

My posts are long overdue. And I swore I wouldn't go a full calendar month without posting ONE time. (I can't believe I even have to type that.) So today's the day. April 30th. My last chance to fit it in. I guess it's a good thing that I've been busy with school & photography, but the blog has definitely lost out on the action. With testing in 2 weeks and the close of the school year (what!?) in 6 weeks, I'm trying to motivate myself to catch up a bit on photography so that I don't get too far behind. :)

You all should be very familiar with the Adams' family - and here they are again on the blog! Olivia is 8 months and we'll be getting together one more time in a few months to close out her 'baby's first year' pictures! I hope that's not the end of pictures altogether, though! I know this family will just continue to grow and become even more and more precious. They are a joy every time I get to capture their life.

Don't worry about how CUTE this bonnet is! Annie picked it up at a yard sale that morning right before the session. perfection!
