this weekend, i went with some friends to see edwin mccain at cat's cradle in carrboro. i've been an edwin fan ever since i can remember. i just love the singer/songwriter feel that he presents so well. i absolutely love when he plays acoustic...just he and his saxophonist. but last night he had his whole band with him and it was amazing.
it was raining when we got there, so i decided to leave my camera in the car. that didn't last long. :)
it has been a joy to re-live this family session for the past couple of weeks as i've been editing. these girls are precious! not to mention their gracious parents that love them to death! everytime i shoot, i am reminded of why i do what i do. and this session was no different. i loved every minute of joking around with these girls and chasing them through the arboretum to catch their every moment.
to the griffin's: thank you so much for allowing me to spend some time with your family! i enjoyed it so much and i hope that you can enjoy these pictures for many years to come. :)
here they are! annie, brandon, and their precious baby boy levi. there are so many things that i love about these pictures. everytime annie or brandon are smiling at levi, he is for sure smiling back. it is the sweetest thing ever. we started out at the arboretum and then headed down to wrightsville to put our feet in the sand. i can't wait to shoot his 12 month pictures later in the year!
kisses on the nose!
levi absolutely loves hats. and i love that he loves hats.
sweet time with his daddy and mommy.
